Tate Henry Rogers collection, 1865-1923.

This collection contains papers that pertain to the history of Olympia, WA and a few pioneer families. It includes information about the Henry family and the Rogers family. There are photographs of the Carlyon family; Rogers family; Henry family and some buildings in Olympia, WA. One touching photo in the collection is a portrait photograph of A. D. Rogers taken by his son, R. R. Rogers, and the imprint on the photo mat is Rogers & Son. There is a photograph album of Seattle's Front Street and other areas before and after the fire of 1889. The album was given to R. R. Rogers by his sister, Edna Carlyon about 1919. The album has several photographs of the tents that were set up to replace the stores that had been there during the rebuilding. There is an album titled "Album of Memories", which is similar to an autograph album that belonged to Mary O'Neil.
